How to prepare for intravenous infusion and intramuscular injection?

A patient of our office does not have to start intravenous infusions or intramuscular injections. prepare for the procedure yourself. Our nurses will take care of it.

In patients who have been ordered to administer a drip, the greatest stress is usually related to the fear of pain accompanying a needle prick, but a professionally performed injection is almost imperceptible.

The route of administration of all our drips is the same, regardless of the detailed composition of the drip.

 

They are administered intravenously using an established intravenous puncture (cannula - venflon installed) directly into the vein, through which the drug is administered directly into the bloodstream of each patient.

Thanks to this, their effectiveness and absorption are maximized, unlike commonly used oral medications and dietary supplements.

 

The drips are connected using disposable equipment and following aseptic rules, so the risk of infection is minimal.

The sterility of the conditions in which infusions and intravenous or intramuscular injections are carried out is important, therefore the administration is performed by qualified medical personnel.
